Supreme Court overrules Chevron deference in Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo
On 28 June 2024 the U.S. Supreme Court held that courts must exercise independent judgment when interpreting statutes administered by agencies, and overruled the Chevron doctrine.
NIST publishes Cybersecurity Framework 2.0
On 26 February 2024 the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology issued version 2.0 of its Cybersecurity Framework, expanding the audience beyond critical infrastructure and adding a Govern function.
